J.D. Rice is a flash fiction writer and aspiring novelist living in Frederick, Maryland. His works explore the darker parts of science fiction, showing how the advancement of technology will never fully change the human condition. As J.D. himself has said, "Mankind must always remember that as our capacity for self-preservation increases, so does our capacity for self-destruction." While writing mostly science fiction, J.D. has also dabbled in romance stories, recipe guides, and Christian devotionals.
